Wow it was truly a great and exciting weekend. Everyone had a ball.
I would like to thank everyone of the following for coming and making this a huge success. They were in no certain order, Harvey Joe Whitaker, Debbie and Jeff Hovious, Don Bonsett, Jeff Riggles, Bill Couch, Trevor Perrault, Jeremy Crossley, Albert Hall, Eddie Williams, and the famous Wesley Sandford with Hardwood Elvis Attack. Wesley donated his time, gas, hotel, and his Deer Potion, and Coon potion for the simple request of taking care of his 2010 membership dues. Wesley for $20 dollars you gave so much this weekend, I try to get Wes to give me his hotel receipt and after 5 differnt times it was apparent that Wesley came from Waddy Kentucky to just be a big help to the HTDA. The crowds were unreal on Saturday with the Sate Police threatening to shut down the place it was over capacity. We were able to really take our message about the HTDA to a higher level with having an hour to talk to the crowd. When the dogs started showing their stuff the crowd quickly came to gather and see what we were all about. We sold I believe 11 new memberships and alot of information. In each show I asked how many coon hunters do we have here, alot of hands went up, then I asked how many have heard of the HTDA and 2/3's of the hands went down. We are still in need of getting out and letting the INDIANA Tree dog men and women know we exist. I am happy to say after a great weekend I was approached by Todd of the Deer and Turkey Expo and he was excited about what we did and how the show went and said he wants to put us down to come back for here on out!!!!
